Results: Cranleigh, 8 June Although only a small group of four Wandsworth swimmers attended this event. The day was a complete success for all concerned. Hannah Geddes gained a bronze in the 200 backstroke bettering her submitted time by 7 seconds, she also reduced her submitted time by 5 seconds for the 200 freestyle. Charlie Metz gained 6th place in the 50 freestyle, and Isobel Stone gained a bronze for the 200 breast stroke and two 5th places for the 50 back and freestyle events. Nicholas White-Overton came away with a crop of medals, gaining three silvers (200 back, 50 & 200 fly), one bronze (50 back) and three 4th places (200 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 200 IM). Although it was a long day, the event was very well run, and the success of our swimmers shows that perseverance pays off; after all you've got to swim it to win it.
