Performance

Our Performance squad is split into an A and B group. The A group do almost all of their training at Crystal Palace under the Beacon programme. The B group do half of their training under the Beacon Development programme and half at Wandsworth with the National Squad. Both groups represent our top swimmers and it is a significant achievement to be selected for these groups. The Beacon Programme is run by the ASA at Crystal Palace and promotion to our Performance Squads is subject to acceptance into the Beacon Programme by the Beacon Head Coach.

Syllabus:	Coaching regimes and intensities follow the recommendations of the ASA Long Term Athlete Development programme. The focus is on performing at National and International level and is intended to be a stepping stone to the England Talent programmes that develop our Elite swimmers. Training is carried out under the Beacon development programme at Crystal Palace using both Beacon and Wandsworth coaches. All training is in a long course pool.
Squad Criteria	Group A Criteria; Group B Criteria
Galas:	Take part in Club, Borough, County, District and National Championships and selected inter club and open galas. Be available for Arena League galas.
