This section covers all aspects of swimming in competitive galas and open meets from the calendar of events to results and tips on preparation.

Swimmers - have you ever wanted to know your PBs or which events you have entered for the next meet?  Now you do not have to ask your coach or your parents, you can check yourself at this link. 

The Standards that are being shown are the Qualifying Times for the 2012 Surrey Age Group Championships. These appear in the column labelled "Std" in the Athlete's time report and are marked by a "Q".

How to use the Standards.  If you select the "Standard" tab on the website and then the course (SCM or LCM) you can see the qualifying times for each age group and each event in the Surrey Championships in 2012.  When you look at your results, your time will have a "Q" next to it if it is a qualifying time at the date of the swim. 

A word of caution.  If you have a birthday between the date of the swim and 18 March 2012, you will be in the next age group for the Surreys 2012 so you will need to check the Standards section of the website as described above.
