2011 Wandsworth Club Championships This year's Championships are being held at the Rainbow Leisure Centre in Epsom between 5pm and 8pm on 29th October, 17th December and 7 January 2012. The facility is a 25m, 6 lane competition pool with a spectator gallery. It should provide our younger swimmers with a relaxed introduction to such an environment. Please follow this link for information about the centre and how to find it. Our Championships are a level 4 licensed meet so all times swum are eligible for the Surrey County Championships in February and March next year. You can find the Surrey Qualifying times at this link so we would recommend each swimmer check how they did and then speak to your coach about next steps to gain qualifying times. We use the same BAGCAT scoring system as used at the Surrey County Championships. Please click on this link for an explanation of the British Age Group CATegories. For 2012 the ASA Technical Swimming committee has included the 14 year old Girls in the BAGCAT age groups. We have amended our Promoter's Conditions to reflect this change and will award age group trophies on the same basis as the ASA.
